International Wine Cellar - Stephen Tanzer - March 2007

88 Points "Dark red. Old World aromas of plum, currant, tobacco leaf and fresh herbs, with a veggie note that remains just this side of asparagus. Slightly vegetal on the palate but with enticing sweetness and good flavor intensity, not to mention a fine-grained texture. I enjoy the wines architecture more than its flavors, but the balance of acidity and sweetness works for me. Finishes with suave tannins and notes of plum, currant and cedary oak."

Wine Report - April 2006

88 Points, Above-Ave "Red berry burst ahead of sweetened coffee, vanilla, prune and Worcestershire sauce flavors. Medium-bodied with a fuzzy mouthfeel, the finish was clean and mellow, blending dark berry and leather notes."

Wine Enthusiast - Susan Kostrzewa - June 2008

87 points, Best Buy "A zippy nose of lemon and apple introduces this clean and friendly wine. On the palate, more citrus and mineral character presents itself, and the overall package is both elegant and easy. A great everyday wine for pairing with fish or salads."

Wine Enthusiast - M.M. - April 2005

87 Points "Tasty juice, with ample tangy citrus-herb tones over ripe melon and tropical fruit aromas and flavors. Has pizzazz, but no sharp edges, and finishes long with spicy notes. Easy to like and easy to drink, with good balance and some complexity."

San Francisco Chronicle - March 03, 2005

"Pungent, grassy, fresh herb nose with rich, slightly nutty palate of ripe apple, mandarin orange and kiwi; good balance; mouth-watering finish."
