MMD announces New Partnership

Maisons Marques & Domaines USA Inc. (MMD) is proud to announce a new partnership with Piedmonte’s PIO CESARE. Effective immediately, MMD will begin representing Pio Cesare’s portfolio throughout the US. Pio Cesare is family owned and is named after its founder Cesare Pio who established the business in 1881. The company remains family owned and is today managed by the great grandson, Pio Boffa.

Pio remarks “My family and I are delighted to partner with MMD and the Rouzaud family (owners of Champagne Louis Roederer and MMD)…. this is the perfect marriage. Our two families believe in the same philosophy - quality starts in the vineyard. Pio Cesare is looking forward to a bright future with our newfound partners at MMD.”

Gregory Balogh, President of Maisons Marques & Domaines states, “Italy has many prestigious wines, especially from Piedmonte. Pio Cesare produces outstanding wines from the region and is a natural complement to the rest of our portfolio. We are delighted to welcome Pio Cesare to our family of wines.”
