The palate is richly tannic, with concentrated flavors of cherry-raspberry, cinnamon, clove, roses, and orange peel lingering through a long finish. Pouring a bright ruby red color, the 2023 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane is minty and fresh, with notes of cinnamon, pomegranate, lifted spice, and clove. Medium-bodied, it has refreshing, bright citrus tones on the palate, with orange zest, supple underlying texture, and delicate incense notes. It’s a bit nervous today but should open up nicely over the next six months or so. Drink 2026-2036.
