The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc (Russian River Valley) is classy and polished to the core. Citrus peel, marzipan, white flowers and light tropical inflections all grace this aromatic, beautifully perfumed Sauvignon Blanc from Merry Edwards.

The 2022 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane is understated and very beautiful. Silky tannins and lifted floral aromatics give this mid-weight, nuanced Pinot tons of charm. Blood orange, cinnamon, dried flowers and a kiss of spice all build in the glass, lending considerable charm throughout.

The 2022 Chardonnay Olivet Lane Vineyard is pretty, open-knit and seductive. Baked apple, apricot, lemon confit, marzipan and a kiss of French oak all run through this expressive, inviting Chardonnay. All the elements are so well balanced.

As much in the savory camp as fruity, this red reveals plum, black cherry, almond, leather, earth, eucalyptus and iron flavors. There are dense, dusty tannins—but, more importantly, bracing acidity that keeps this red energetic and pulsing on the long finish. Best from 2028 through 2045.

Dip a Golden Delicious apple slice in caramel to get an idea of how fabulous this wine smells. Additional aromas include peach, orange and ginger. Flavors like graham crackers slathered in guava icing, honeycomb and peach glide along a soft, thick palate. The acidity is on the soft side, but the “yum factor” is high.
