The 2021 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane is a classic wine from this part of the Russian River Valley. Crushed flowers, spice, mocha and red-toned fruit are all amplified. The 2021 offers tons of textural intensity while also retaining an element of translucence that is quite attractive.

The 2021 Pinot Noir Meredith Estate is a terrific example of the house style. Bold and forward, with tons of textural depth, the 2021 also possesses superb balance. Black cherry, plum, espresso, menthol, licorice and cloves are some of the notes that build in this glass. Even with all of its textural intensity, the Meredith retains very good freshness and verve.

“A stunning white, this leaps out of the glass with aromatic mango, orange blossom and salted ripe melon flavors. Gains complexity from grilled peach, lemon oil, savory litsea oil and toasted herb elements, with a fleshy, creamy texture and fresh acidity. Drink now through 2029.”

March 2024 94 Points The Tasting Panel Magazine

“Barrel fermented and aged sur lie for five months in (18% new) French oak, the wine glistens with Meyer lemon and honeydew. Pineapple, gardenia, and sweet basil line the palate, lending a zingy profile to a finish of salty minerality.”

“Dense and structured, this robust wine offers more than the usual tannins and acidity, giving it a grippy mouthfeel and the potential to mellow with time. Black cherries, black currants and woodsy spices are there, waiting to develop.”
