Gently steeped raspberry and black cherry fruit shows density and grip, with light anise, black tea and savory notes adding energy through the lightly toasted, slightly dusty finish. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2036.

Coming from two different parcels in the appellation, the 2023 Condrieu La Galopine is medium gold-hued with classic Condrieu notes of ripe stone fruits, peach, and apricot fruits as well as a beautiful floral character. It's medium to full-bodied, has wonderful freshness, and a great sense of minerality on the finish. Drink 2025-2030.

The 2022 Condrieu Clos Boucher might be the closest thing to a Château Grillet out there. Beautifully pure stone fruits, crushed stone, white peach, and minty flower notes all define the aromatics, and this beauty is medium to full-bodied, concentrated, has a focused, elegant mouthfeel, and one heck of a great finish. Drink 2025-2035.

Mostly from the Saint-Pierre lieu-dit but with some Reynard and Champelrose fruit as well, the 2022 Cornas Chante-Perdrix is a pure, elegant, medium-bodied Cornas that has ample sun-kissed red and black fruits, leafy herbs, pepper, and graphite aromatics, fine yet building tannins, and a great finish. This cuvée always shines more for its complexity and elegance than sheer power, yet it still brings rock-solid concentration and depth. Drink 2025-2037.

Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in equal parts making 90% of the blend, then Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Sourced from all four terroir units on the farm. 50% new oak here, with 18 months in barrel, but looking at less toast. First vintage 1980. Concentrated and fresh with lovely blackcurrant and red cherry fruit, with subtle olive and spice showing great intensity and potential for ageing. Grippy and structured with well integrated oak, and lovely fruit balance. Primary and brimming with potential.
