Story
Maison Louis Roederer
Since Champagne Louis Roederer’s founding in 1776, the House has been synonymous with the world’s greatest champagnes.
The Louis Roederer experience is defined first and foremost by the art of champagne making. Such artistry can only be attained when it begins with this kind of uncompromising commitment to the individual vines, where the essence of the final product begins to develop.
The cuvées of the House of Louis Roederer are the fruit of patient work with fundamental ingredients, the collaboration of experts, a quest for the perfect balance, and hardy and generous grapes, cultivated in the Champagne soil, producing a wine with a summery character and crystalline elegance.
A Family-Owned Company
Founded in 1776, Champagne Louis Roederer continues as one of the very rare Champagne houses to remain firmly in the hands of the family. For two centuries, seven successive generations have been responsible for building a reputation for quality and continuity.
Maison Louis Roederer has remained an independent, family-owned company and is now managed by Frédéric Rouzaud, who represents the seventh generation of the family's lineage. With the same patience and unshakeable faith in its creative vocation, Maison Louis Roederer’s annual exports total three million bottles around the world.
