This wine is from an assortment of estate Anderson Valley vineyard sites. The aromas are pleasing and fresh, with redolent notes of strawberries and sweet cherries. The palate is consistent, with piquant notes of blood orange and dried anise framing fresh strawberry flesh and touches of sea spray minerality.

In 1982 Champagne house Louis Roederer came to California landing in the Anderson Valley of Mendocino County. For the Domaine Anderson project, instead of using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for sparkling wine, the winery went for still. The estate Chardonnay and a great entry point into its more site-focused wines. It has a refreshing mineral nose with well-integrated notes from oak aging.
