“A floral and creamy style of white Cotes-du-Rhone. The lively acidity balances the full body nicely. Quite a zesty orange peel finish. A cuvee of roussanne and marsanne, clairette, grenache blanc. Drink now.”

“Very smoky and meaty syrah, but also some violet aromas. At once plush and elegant this is a really sophisticated Crozes with full body, but also some delicacy. The tannins only come centre stage right at the end. They should give it a long life. From a four-hectare vineyard site south of Tain l'Hermitage, located close to the Rhone river. All matured in oak, but only about a quarter in new barrels. Drink or hold. ”

“A very typical Côtes du Rhône red with full red fruit and plenty of baking spice. Full body and a warm, yet gently dry mouthfeel, in spite of the challenging vintage. Good length and excellent harmony at the finish. A cuvee based on grenache with syrah and other traditional grapes. Drink now.”

“A rich and texturally complex white Hermitage with some melted butter and butterscotch character. However, there's also stacks of dried citrus peel, plus some toast. Lots of power and concentration on the imposing palate. The stony finish is still firm and tightly wound, this having been made for long ageing. A pure marsanne that was entirely barrel fermented and matured with about a quarter of new oak. Drink or hold.”

“Earthy-sweet blueberry flavors are brightened by an acidity that would make me excited to try this wine again in five years. Though the wine is suave and rich, it presents some of syrah's animal funk and floral aspects at the edges and at the end of its length. If you open it now, decant it to diminish the toasty oak in the finish. For grilled lamb.”
