“Opulent yet detailed, with expressive pear and cherry flavors accented by roasted hazelnut, brioche and fresh ginger. Builds richness on the plush finish. Drink now through 2027.”

“The 2020 Delas ‘Chante-Perdrix’ Cornas is inky in the glass, with fantastic concentration and underlying finesse. A bit tight to get going, this delivers copious dark fruit flavors alongside violets, graphite, tar and creme de cassis notes with dark chocolate shavings on the palate. Fresh and vibrant, this is going to age gracefully. Drink 2024-2039.”

“The 2020 Delas Saint-Joseph "Francois de Tournon" is a blend of grapes from the terroirs of Vion, Saint-Jean de Muzols, Mauves and Tournon. Iron, bulls blood and iodine flavors combine with tart black raspberry and black cherry notes on the palate, with pencil lead undercurrents. Neatly textured, enjoy now and over the next fifteen years to come. Drink 2024-2039.”

Lots of blackberries, dark cherries and hints of orange peel and bark in the aromas.Medium- to full-bodied with fine creamy tannins that caress the palate. The tannic tension give this focus and brightness. 85% cabernet sauvignon, 9% cabernet franc and the rest petit verdot. Hard not to drink now, but better in two to three years.

“Vidal is one of the northeast's most popular hybrid grapes. It’s quite hardy in the winter months, which is why it also thrives on the Niagara peninsula just over the New York border in Canada. Inniskillin was the first estate winery founded in Canada post-prohibition in 1975. This ice wine from their revered grape is not only delicious but bubbly! It’s bright and inviting with ripe fruit on the nose and hints of white pepper. The sweetness on the palate is balanced by lively bubbles that rise through the viscosity.”
