A bright medium yellow color, the 2019 Champagne Blanc de Blancs is focused on the nose and is an exciting wine because it’s beautiful and friendly yet still carries real structure. It has lemon sorbet and creamy cheese notes, with concentration and beauty but also vertical minerality. It’s a gorgeous Chardonnay with long-lasting energy and length, and the mousse is refreshing and springy, bringing fresh energy throughout.

A rich yet tense wine with blueberry, cherry, plum and cedar aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a bright finish. A little tight now, but it opens with aeration and shows velvety tannins and a pretty finish. Needs a year or two to open. Try after 2027.

A soft and velvety red with plum, walnut, cedar and bark character, as well as orange-peel undertones. It’s medium- to full-bodied with a soft, silky texture and a delicious finish. This will age beautifully, but why wait? Drink or hold.

This pale, elegant rosé has aromas of sliced peaches and melon. It’s silky and fruity with a medium body and a creamy texture. Delicious now.

Muddled black plum, apricot skin and boysenberry aromas frolic on the nose accented by hibiscus and violet blossom. Prominent black fruit on the palate leans against red raspberry on the finish that slightly-grippy tannins enhance. Pair with a bacon cheeseburger, lamb chop and roasted eggplant.
