Tropical fruit aromas of mangoes and papayas with some fresh lilacs and white peaches. Medium- to full-bodied with dried apples and lemons as well as intense acidity. Tangy and crisp with a racy and energetic finish. Drink or hold.

The 2017 Picolit displays a vibrant yellow-golden color with a seductive bouquet of ripe peaches, lemon custard and confectionary spice. It opens with a pleasant inner sweetness offset by sour citrus as opulent waves of tropical melon flow across a stream of zesty acidity. This finishes with fantastic length and staining yet is still remarkably fresh. Baked pear and fresh mint notes linger on. There's wonderful complexity and balance here.

The 2021 Illivio, a blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Piccolit, takes its time in the glass, sweetly alluring with a tinge of vanilla bean that embellishes fresh sliced peaches. Split pine and mint aromas add contrast. The 2021 soothes with its silky textures and supple character, bending around the contours of the palate as nectarine and bitter lemon rind notes collect under an air of pretty inner florals. Its minerality comes through the finish, classically dry and tense, as Asian pear and exotic spices slowly fade. While already showing beautifully today, the 2021 will show its best after a few years of cellaring.

“Tangerine peel acidity creates a softly juicy and well-balanced frame for a ripe range of pear tart, marzipan, dried white flowers and honeycomb notes in this fine and creamy white. A minerally underpinning of salinity emerges alongside accents of white pepper and herbs on the finish. Drink now through 2029.”

A tightly meshed white that unfurls on the palate, with a minerally underpinning of smoke and saline bolstering flavors of grainy pear, orange curd, chamomile and crushed almond. Racy and mouthwatering, but shows a creamy nappe to the texture that works nicely with the acidity. The long finish shows mineral elements and light herb and floral accents. Drink now through 2030.
