The warmer style of the year exalts forward fruit while pushing varietal character into the background just a touch.

The 2023 Chardonnay Olivet Lane Vineyard is gorgeous. Rich, creamy and expansive, the Olivet Lane offers up an attractive mix of orchard fruit, white flowers, tangerine peel and white pepper. The combination of fruit presence and energy is compelling. This is the essence of the Russian River in a cold year.

The 2023 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) is a potent, boisterous wine. Black cherry fruit, mocha, new leather, licorice and spice notes saturate the palate. This is classic Russian River in its fruit exuberance and overall shape, but there's plenty of acid and tannin to balance things out.

This broad and opulent Pinot delivers aromas of crushed cherry and cranberry, spice mélange, soy sauce, violets, and cocoa powder. The palate is loaded with rich tannin and juicy acidity, with flavors of black plum, cedar, and orange peel swirling through the finish.
