A powerful, structured and full-bodied wine from the winery’s original vineyard planted in 1996. Nuanced aromas of dark fruit, black olives and spiced cherries. The palate shows plush tannins, integrated acidity, pleasing concentration without heaviness and rich, dark fruit flavors. Give it a couple of years for the nuances to appear and the texture to flesh out.
