A blend of Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Bianco, Malvasia Istriana and Ribolla Gialla, this historic wine from Livio Felluga is complex and deeply pleasing . Aromas of white peach, wild mint, citrus blossom and crushed chalk lure you more deeply into the wine. The palate has a solid core of nectarine and pineapple that gives way to hints of white tea, cream and baking spice. Enough acidity at the end keeps the wine all together. Drink now–2035.

“The name of this wine derives from the flower of the same name, "Potentilla". The name combines the Latin "potenza" for power with the diminutive form of "illa" creating defining the small flower with great power. This is a perfect name for this delicious Sauvignon from the historic Livo Felluga estate. Aromas of white peach, citrus oil and yellow flowers leap out of the glass. The palate is round and texture, due to oak aging, finishing with hints of nectarine, crushed rock and a touch of herb. Beautifully balanced this wine will age quiet well. Drink NOW.”

“Notes of lemongrass and mint mingle with flavors of lemon curd and white grapefruit in this rich, honeyed wine. It will show more of itself in a year or two.”

“Two days of skin maceration followed by aging in amphorae yielded this copper-hued wine, it’s firm phenolic structure and light bitterness brightened by flavors of white peach and tangerine. Give it a year or two for the tannins to soften and the flavors to meld.”
