“The 2017 Pinot Noir Olivet Lane comes from vines planted in 1973 in loamy soils. Made with 82% new French oak, it's medium ruby with aromas of granite, lilac and woodsmoke over rhubarb, crushed raspberries, potpourri and amaro touches. The palate is medium-bodied and fragrant with slowly evolving flavor layers and grainy tannins, with addicting freshness on the long, nuanced finish. This merits another couple of years in bottle.”

“Generous and delicious, this is a tannic, boldly structured and beautifully brawny wine, rich in wild cherry and brambly blackberry. Toasted oak, orange and spicy nutmeg accent a luxurious mouthfeel on the midpalate before an unctuous wave of cocoa powder takes hold on the long finish.”

“Crunchy, featuring crushed red plum, berry and cherry flavors, framed by fresh acidity. Slate and spice notes emerge midpalate. The finish lingers with savory richness. Drink now through 2023.”
